What do farmers, food bank leaders, health educators, and grocery store owners all have in common?
They each play an important, though different, role in our local food system, and they are all committed to sharing information and resources to promote a food system that benefits all of us.
Through networking and professional development opportunities, we bring a range of people-from farm to fork-together to seek innovative solutions to promote a healthy, just, and sustainable food system.
The Food Security Partners hold Partner Meetings every other month. The meetings bring people together from all parts of the food system so they can learn about each others' efforts, exchange information and resources, and seek ways to collaborate with one another.

When placed in the right hands, small amounts of funding can bring about great change for our food system. Each August, the Food Security Partners awards mini-grants to its Partners and Members to support their efforts in building a more healthy, just, and sustainable food system for Middle Tennessee.
The 2008 call for proposals will be available here June 2008.
